I froze in mid-step. The voice was so intense, so commanding, it was impossible to ignore.
I turned slowly,
And there he was. A tall man around 6'2 or 6'3, dressed in a sharp black suit, dark sunglasses hiding his eyes, His stance was firm, his hand's in his pockets, exuding power-and trouble.
"Scratch" - the word slipped out of my mouth Before I could stop it.
He stood there, tall and imposing, a strange, glowing anger in his eyes that sent chill down my spine
"Ah, thanks! You tell me that, otherwise I was assuming it as a design". he replied, his voice dripping sarcasm, his gaze sharp enough to cut through steel.
I was fumbling for words. " Mention not, but you should know about such small things uhm..Mr.whatever." I said knowing his is getting irritated.
"Small things?" he shot back, his tone colder. "You should be apologizing for what you've done."
I crossed my arms, trying to sound braver than I felt. "Why should I? When it's not even my fault?"
His brows rose. "Oh, really? If it's not your fault, then whose is it?"
"Yours" I said without missing the beat.
"Mine!, and that's how?Care to explain."
He said folding his arms to his chest.
"Exactly. It's not my fault. Your car shouldn't have been there."I said while folding my arms to my chest.
He opens his mouth to say something about before he could say anything someone cut him in middle.
Another guy, who had been standing silently beside him all this time, finally spoke up. His voice was calm, almost amused."Leave guy's, it was just a small scratch. Why you both are creating scene in the middle of road, and We're getting late man. It's already 11:10".
I realized he was right - I was running out of time.
"Yeah, you seem smart," I said, trying to lighten the mood. "You should teach something to your friend too. I should leave now, I'm getting late." I said on which that guy chuckled Softly.
Before leaving I turn back
"Excuse me, what's your name?". I asked to a that guy.
On which that Mr.Whatever turn towards us and stand there glaring me and his friend.
"Grav, Grav Rathore." That guy replied with a calm smile.
I smile back and said to him " Nice to meet you, Mr Garv Rathore. and hope you teach bit of it to your friend too. Ok then I should leave now, bye new friend."
I shot him a glare and leave for my college without saying anything to him.
------------------------------------------------------------

In a room
"Inform them that I accepted their invitation, and I'll be there today. When will the function start?" I asked, my tone firm as I spoke into the phone.
A cold voice replied on the other end, "By 11, You should be there on time.
"I will," I said, glancing at my watch. I ended the call and turned to my best friend, who had been watching me with raised brows.
"Excuse me, what do you mean by 'you should leave around 10:30'?" I asked him, crossing my arms, challenging his earlier comment.
He smirked. "It means, You. Mr. Aakarsh Agnihotri." I rolled my eyes on his reply.
"you have to come with me," I said, to him.
"but-
"No buts. No if's." I said in warning tone.
"Ok then, I'll be there in an hour," he said, shrugging as if this was no big deal.
"An hour?" I raised a brow, knowing him too well to expect punctuality.
I've been delaying this for so long, but today I think, Let's end by attending it.
And I started getting ready, brushing off the strange feeling from my heart.
As I headed down for breakfast, my brother's greeted me in union."Good morning, bhai,".
"Good morning, everyone," I said as I settled in for breakfast.
"Good Morning everyone" we all turned towards the voice and there's my best friend walking towards us.
"What's up Grav Bhai? "krishiv asked him.
"All good, what about you?" he replied.
"Grav we are getting late, let's go."I said.
Before these two start there interview session I should leave, they are so talkative.
"yeah, bye everyone." saying we both move towards the car.
I turned the key, and the car roared to life. We speed down the street, the sun casting a warm glow over the road. Just as I was starting to relax. We were talking about some work.
"Turn toward the market." he said.
"Why don't you had breakfast? " I asked him.
"No, that man was there so, I didn't." he replied, refering his step-father.
"Ah,ok" I said and turn my car towards the market. I usually don't prefer driver because I love driving.
A sharp thud jolted me - a noise from outside the car.
"What the hell was that?" I muttered, already stepping out of the car, my mind racing with possibilities. The anger run through my every fiber of my body, I am very possessive about my cars.
As I stepped out and there a scratch on my car.
"What the fuck is this?" The words slipped out, sharper than I intended, my voice echoing with irritation as I stared at the fresh scratch on my car's glossy surface. I hadn't even parked for five minutes, and some clueless person had already managed to mess it up.
As I turned, my eyes landed on her - the culprit. She stood frozen like a deer caught in headlights, her back facing me, she slowly turned back, she was looking equal parts guilty and cute,
defiant. strands falling into her face, probably from rushing. There was a flicker of panic in her eyes, but also a strange kind of stubbornness - like she wasn't about to back down.
She was draped in a dark green saree, which is perfectly wrapped around her curves. Her doe coffee brown orbs popped out must be thinking about the outcomes....They were the same! Those same eyes!!!. Her face, I just can't help but admired her in every possible way.....No No why I'm connecting dots.
"Scratch" her words snapped me back to reality.
She wasn't what I expected. In fact, for someone who'd just damaged my car, she looked... oddly interesting. She had this energy about her - like she was always in a hurry, chasing something, maybe even running from something.
Before I could say more, she shot back, her tone edged with sarcasm, "Why should I? When it's not my fault?"
I raised a brow, taken aback. Bold. Most people would've been apologizing by now.
"Oh, really? It's not your fault?" I said, folding my arms, my irritation fading into curiosity. She wasn't going to make this easy.
She crossed her own arms, mirroring me. "Exactly. It's not my fault. Your car shouldn't have been there."
I couldn't help it - I laughed, shaking my head. She was impossible.
Before we could go further, my friend stepped in, his voice calm, trying to deescalate. "Alright guys, we're already getting late. Let's not make a scene."
She glanced at her watch, like she'd just remembered she had somewhere to be. "Yeah, you seem smart. You should teach something to your friend too," she said, throwing the jab at me.
She starts leaving without apologise for her mistake but, then she and walk towards us. I think maybe she is going to apologise me. But stopped in front of Grav.
"By the way, What's your name?" She asked him with so soft and polite tone.
She was talking with him in complete different ways. She didn't talk with me like that. And for the first time I was feeling too irritated with their talks or with the way they talk.
"Grav, Grav Rathore" he said with a smile.
"Nice to meet you Mr. Grav Rathore, hope you teach bit of it to your friend too. I should leave now I'm getting late, bye new friend. " she said to him while smiling and shot me a look and leave from their.
New friend? Huh. I was standing there completely irritated with them.
"let's go, It's 11:10 we are too late." he said
" Because of that girl, first time I got late for something" I said while sitting back in car.
At college
I parked my car and walk towards the gate.
" Good Morning sir, Thanks for accepting our invitation. " principal said
I just nodded and start walking towards the auditorium in the middle of way I heard a familiar voice.
I moved in the voice direction. Thennnnn.....
